Bring your own site
For: Care Plus (included, no extra charge)
Already have a website, from an AI tool, a friend or another builder? Launchly can host it as you made it and connect it to your Launchly lead inbox and owner dashboard. You upload a .zip of your site (or one .html page) and look at a private preview before anything goes public.
It's included with Care Plus. If you're on Starter or Care, the page tells you so and you can upgrade to Care Plus first.
What you need
- A .zip of your site, or a single .html page. Your home page must be called
index.html. - Up to 5 MB and 30 files. Allowed files: web pages, styles, scripts, images, fonts, SVG, JSON and text files.
Steps
- Open your owner dashboard and choose Bring your own site.
- Drop in your .zip. Launchly checks it on your computer first, and tells you in plain words if anything isn't allowed.
- Read the checklist. It points out broken links, pictures without descriptions, sample text like "Lorem ipsum" or a 555 phone number, and scripts loaded from other websites. These are notes, not blockers, and your design is never changed.
- Under Your forms, pick the form you want sent to your Launchly lead inbox and match its boxes (name, phone, email, message).
- Read and tick the short confirmation (you own the content or have the right to use it, you're responsible for what it says, and Launchly hosts it but doesn't review or endorse it), then press Upload and preview. The preview is private.
- Happy with it? Press Publish. Not happy? Press Discard draft and nothing changes.
You can upload a new .zip any time to update. Restore previous version brings back the last one, and Turn my uploaded site off shows your Launchly-built site again.
Good to know
- Your uploaded site is shown at your Launchly address. A custom domain (yourbusiness.com) looks more professional, and setup is included with Care and Care Plus.
- On the Launchly address, your page's own code can't use cookies or saved settings.
- Scripts from other websites (chat widgets, some analytics, some embeds) are blocked for safety. Maps and YouTube or Vimeo videos work.
- Launchly hosts web files only. PHP and other server code can't run here.
- Before you publish, replace sample text and phone numbers, and check your business name spelling.
