Connect your own domain
For: Care and Care Plus (setup included)
Your site can live at your own address, like yourbusiness.com, with a secure padlock (HTTPS). Launchly doesn't sell domains. You register one yourself, with any company you like, then we connect it.
What you'll need
- A domain you own, and the login for the company you bought it from (your "registrar").
- About 15 minutes to follow our instructions at the registrar.
How it works
- Email us at brian@golaunchly.com with your domain name.
- We prepare everything. Before anything moves, we copy over your existing settings, including your email, so your business email keeps working.
- You make one change at your registrar. We'll send you two "nameserver" addresses to paste in, with step-by-step instructions. If DNSSEC is turned on, you'll need to turn it off first, and we'll show you where.
- We connect your site and switch on HTTPS. Both
yourbusiness.comandwww.yourbusiness.comwork. The www version forwards to the main one. - Your review page also moves to
yourbusiness.com/review.
How long does it take?
The change at your registrar can take from a few minutes to a day or two to spread across the internet. We'll check on it and let you know when it's live.
